For the second time in under two years, In2Food group has been placed in voluntary administration and is now under the management of global accounting firm HLB Mann Judd.
The company provided food to commercial kitchens, cafés, restaurants and aged care homes, and had headquarters in every Australian jurisdiction except Tasmania.
It’s understood as many as 350 jobs around the country will be impacted by the collapse.
The company has already ceased trading in Sydney and Melbourne, with new management desperately trying to find a buyer for branches in other cities.
In an email seen by 9news.com.au, the executive director of parent company Produce Republic, Simon Raftery, confirmed the collapse to staff earlier in the week.
“On 7 March, 2023, HLB Mann Judd was appointed as voluntary administrators of the In2Food group, they have now taken over management of the business and will conduct an urgent sale process for it,” Raftery said.
“I’d like to thank everyone for their commitment and efforts over the past year and wish everyone the best for the year ahead.”
